ABOUT
US BCC exists today as the legacy of the senior political and banking relationships developed 50 years ago by its "professor emeritus". The founder, a West Point graduate, served with distinction as a national security advisor to US president, Lyndon Baines Johnson. The current BCC chairman is the founder's chosen successor, close friend and business protege. Today he and his supporting directors comprise the operational and banking executive structure of the trust. The BCC principal, an economics graduate of UC Berkeley, achieved academic distinction in his early career by assisting in the development of one of the first econometric models of the US economy, along with Michael Boskin and other distinguished academics. Mr. Boskin later went on to become President Reagan's chief economic adviser. During this period of time, and throughout his academic career, the BCC principal had the privilege of association with many of the elite of the USA banking and economic world. Throughout his forty years of service to the financial world the BCC principal has worked alongside, advised and maintained personal friendships with many of the top executives of the United States business world including the founders of Apple, Sun, and Oracle. BCC's strategic supporting directors each have distinguished academic and business backgrounds which include M&A, American Stock Exchange membership, business valuation lecturing and private wealth management client advisory at top global banking institutions such as Citigroup and UBS. As BCC directors, these executives are responsible for selecting the world's most worthy projects for funding consideration from a global pool of talent. Each director has sole authority to set the trust's offer for funding and involvement to selected projects. BCC's scope is global.
